The vehicle MUST be purchased with your Alaska LLC as the owner. You CANNOT transfer ownership with a Bill of Sale in Alaska like you can in Montana.

You HAVE to have an EIN for your Alaska LLC before we can submit your title work. The timeline for securing your EIN is completely at the mercy of the IRS.

The vehicle’s weight MUST be on the title of your vehicle. If it isn’t, you’ll have to visit a certified weigh station.

*If you are planning on registering a vehicle whose MSRP is $150K+, you may want to consider one of our Alaska LLC Vehicle Registration packages so you’re not subject to Montana’s yearly luxury fee of $825.
WHY Alaska instead of Montana? For vehicles over $150K MSRP, you will avoid Montana's yearly $825 luxury fee. Additionally, Alaska's DMV fees are generally very low, even for luxury vehicles.

NEW PURCHASE: Vehicle purchases must be made directly into the name of your Alaska LLC. The title must be signed over to your Alaska LLC. If your vehicle is purchased in your personal name, you’ll be required to register that vehicle in your home state first before you transfer it to your Alaska LLC.

FINANCING: If you are in the process of purchasing your vehicle, make sure the lien is in the name of your Alaska LLC on the MCO or title and that your lender knows the vehicle will be registered to your LLC in the state of Alaska. If you are registering a vehicle that you already own (and carrying the lien over), you’ll need to refinance in the name of your Alaska LLC before it can be registered.

REFUND POLICY

If cancellation occurs prior to your company being filed with the Secretary of State, refund will be given in full. Disclosure of payment information is consent to file the company.

If cancellation occurs after the filing of your company with the Secretary of State, refund will be given less the fees assessed to establish the LLC.

If cancellation occurs after the registration of a property with a state office, no refund will be given.

Payment is considered consent to file the company with the Montana Secretary of State. All companies will be filed immediately upon payment processing.

All sales are final and non-refundable after 30 days.
